Standard 6 Communication
Introduction

The focus of this Care Certificate - Standard 6: Communication curriculum focuses on effective communication techniques. You must exhibit good communication at work in order to pass this unit. This will entail exhibiting confidentiality, using appropriate communication tools and technology, and comprehending how to satisfy each person's linguistic demands, preferences, and choices.

Aims

  • The knowledge material of the Care certifications is covered in the course, although taking this course alone will not be the primary means of completing the certificates.
  • The Care certificate includes about 50 regions of administrative centre evaluation in addition to the knowledge content. An induction must be given by your employer to make sure you have the skills, knowledge, and information required for the position.

Objectives

  • The Care Certificate – Standard 6: Communication outlines the essential skills you will need to be competent when working in the health and social care sectors, so you may utilise it as part of your introduction.
  • Before assuming any job where you may operate without direct supervision, you should complete and assess each standard. This may be done gradually and should happen right at the beginning of your job.
  • If you achieve the requirements, you may be permitted to carry out certain tasks covered by the standard without direct supervision, but you will still require supervision in other areas.

This Care Certificate is provided via e-learning on the internet. Students enrolled in the Care Certificate - Standard 6: Communication course will have immediate access to our interactive LMS, which provides round-the-clock access to the course content.

Assesment

After finishing the training materials, an online evaluation in communication is required for the Care Certificate - Standard 6. A test consisting of multiple-choice answers must be completed with a passing grade of 80%. As the answers are automatically graded, you can see if you passed or not. Do not worry if you fail! The exam may be taken up to twenty (20) times. However, after using all twenty (20) tries, you will need to purchase the same course again.

Course Duration

• The online care course needs a minimum of one hour to complete. This can be a guide to the educational hours needed, and it depends on how quickly an individual can understand the course. The training is online. It may be displayed over multiple sessions or done in one session.

• Learners will have access to the present course for up to nine months from the date of joining. There's no pressure to finish the course in a short time.
