Standard 2 Your Personal Development
Introduction

You will learn how to create a personal development plan, discover growth opportunities, and locate mentors to help you build on your strengths and shortcomings in this personal development course. You will also learn about resources that can assist you in expanding your knowledge and talents.

Aims

  • Although the Care Certificate course contains the knowledge material of the Care certifications, the certificates cannot be achieved only via the use of this course.
  • In addition to knowledge content, the Care certificate includes around 50 administrative centre evaluation zones. Your employer must conduct an induction to verify you have the capabilities, information, and knowledge required to accomplish your job.

Objectives

  • The Care certifications, which outline the essential skills you'll need to be competent when working in the health and social care sectors, can be utilised as part of your introduction.
  • It is necessary to complete and assess each standard before you are able to work independently. This may be done gradually and should happen right at the beginning of your job.
  • If you achieve the criterion, you could be permitted to carry out the tasks covered by it without direct supervision, while you might still require supervision in other contexts.
