Food Safety

Introduction

This course is required for everyone who works in an environment where food is handled, cooked, or prepared. It is also known as the basic food hygiene certificate. By enrolling in this course, food handlers can fulfil their legal need.

Who should attend?

• According to the Food and Safety and Hygiene (ENGLAND) REGULATIONS 2013, food handlers must have the necessary training to do their jobs in a safe manner.
• This course on food safety gives students a comprehensive introduction to safe food handling techniques, ensuring that they fulfil their legal obligations.
• Food handlers in restaurants, hotels, cafés, bars, fast-food outlets, takeout, mobile food trucks, kitchens, hospitals, schools, colleges, care facilities and other establishments in the catering industry can enrol in this course.

Assesment

After completing the course content, students enrolled in Specialised Care Courses—Food Hygiene—take an online evaluation. A multiple-choice exam with a passing score of 80% must be completed. As the answers are automatically graded, you can see if you passed or not. Do not worry if you fail! The exam may be taken up to twenty (20) times. After you've utilised all twenty (20) tries, you must buy the same course again.

Course Duration

• The online care course needs a minimum of one hour to complete. This can be a guide to the educational hours needed, and it depends on how quickly an individual can understand the course. The training is online. It may be displayed over multiple sessions or done in one session.

• Learners will have access to the present course for up to nine months from the date of joining. There's no pressure to finish the course in a short time.
